Position Overview

Teema Staffing is seeking a qualified Endoscopy Technician for a temporary to permanent position. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting medical professionals in the endoscopic procedures.

The Endoscopy Technician will be tasked with the upkeep and management of all related equipment, including endoscopes, assisting physicians during procedures, and ensuring that supplies are adequately inventoried and stocked.

  • Compensation: $25 - $27 per hour, based on experience
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, with shifts from 6am to 4pm or 7am to 5pm, working four days a week
  • Work Environment: Four procedure rooms with an average of 40 cases handled daily
  • Employment Type: Temporary to permanent position with a strong likelihood of permanent hire

Qualifications:

  • Required: Experience in reprocessing and/or GI procedures must be clearly stated on the resume
  • BCLS certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support) is necessary
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a clinical setting
  • At least one year of experience assisting in GI or pulmonary medical procedures
  • Prior experience in cleaning, disinfecting, and processing endoscopes is essential
  • Must pass a pre-employment physical along with any additional testing required to meet state and OSHA standards
  • Ability to lift and transport supplies and equipment as needed
