Key Responsibilities- Provide general nursing care to patients, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Assist with patient preparation, vitals, assessments, and procedures, ensuring efficient patient flow.
- Maintain accurate records of patient data, including vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
- Perform EKG and oximetry readings as needed, and process lab specimens according to OSHA and universal precautions.
- Collaborate with physicians to schedule patient tests, procedures, and hospital admissions, and provide follow-up on test results.
- Respond to incoming telephone calls, instruct patients on medication and treatment instructions, and formulate patient care plans.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate from an accredited school for practical nursing.
- 0-3 years of experience as a practical nurse in a hospital or clinic setting.
- Current CPR certification.
