Overview:

We are in search of a Contract Physical Therapist to become a vital part of our team at a semi-private outpatient clinic renowned for its outstanding staff retention and low turnover. Our diverse patient population ranges from young adolescents to seniors, encompassing individuals recovering from sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, and those involved in worker's compensation cases. If you are dedicated to delivering exceptional care to a varied group of patients, this opportunity may be ideal for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized patient care during dedicated one-on-one sessions.
  • Perform comprehensive evaluations lasting 60 minutes and follow-up appointments of 30 minutes.
  • Design and execute effective treatment strategies tailored to patient requirements and objectives.
  • Conduct detailed assessments, evaluations, and periodic re-evaluations.
  • Remain informed about the latest developments in physical therapy and adhere to evidence-based methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program, holding either a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master of Physical Therapy (MPT) degree.
  • Possession of a valid Massachusetts State License or eligibility for licensure in Massachusetts prior to commencement.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory for applicants.

Benefits and Advantages:

  • The last appointment of the day is scheduled for one hour to facilitate documentation.
  • No overlapping appointments are permitted.
  • Approximately 65 appointments are scheduled weekly, accounting for 2-3 cancellations each day.
  • Compensation is set at $55 per hour for those located within 50 miles of the clinic.
  • For distances exceeding 50 miles, stipends will be provided.
