Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Speech Therapist to join our team in a contract full-time capacity. This role is essential in providing high-quality care in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) and long-term care (LTC) setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients referred for speech, hearing, and language impairments.
  • Implement effective treatment plans aimed at enhancing patients' communication abilities, including sound production, voice modulation, and language skills.
  • Educate patients on techniques to strengthen oral muscles and employ strategies for safe swallowing.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create and adjust individualized care plans.
  • Deliver skilled speech therapy interventions in accordance with physician directives.
  • Evaluate patient progress and modify therapy goals to ensure optimal outcomes in communication and swallowing skills.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist or in the process of obtaining it.
  • Valid CPR certification.
  • SLP-CCC certification is required.
