Position Summary:
This role is situated within a Long Term Care and Mail Order pharmacy environment, offering a unique opportunity to gain experience in pharmacy operations. The position involves working in a fast-paced and evolving atmosphere.

Work Schedule:
Omnicell Technician: Monday to Friday, 1st Shift (9:00 am - 6:00 pm) with rotating weekends. *Omnicell experience is required.
Fulfillment Technician: Monday to Friday, alternating between 1st Shift (9:00 am - 6:00 pm) and 2nd Shift (11:30 am - 9:00 pm).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently process and fill prescription orders for Long Term Care facilities and mail order clients.
  • Support pharmacists in the dispensing of medications and managing inventory.
  • Adhere to pharmacy regulations and internal policies.
  • Pre-pack medications for distribution.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized workspace.

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience as a pharmacy technician.
  • Ability to interpret physician orders accurately.
  • Familiarity with both brand and generic drug names, as well as SIG Codes.
  • Prior experience in pharmacy order entry is preferred.
  • A valid and active pharmacy technician license in Virginia.
