Staff Mechanical Fueling Engineer - Aviation and Federal Sector

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Fueling Engineer to join our team at Gable Search Group. As a Staff Mechanical Fueling Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and constructing fuel systems for various industries, including aviation and federal sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fuel receipt, storage, and distribution facilities
  • Fuel distribution pumping and piping systems
  • Pipeline and transport truck fuel receipt systems
  • Fuel storage tanks
  • Creation of P&IDs and mechanical system control arrangements
  • Layout of equipment pad and valve manifolds
  • Piping system hydraulic modeling
  • Piping system stress analysis
  • Proficient in AutoCAD - knowledge of plant design software (Plant 3D) a plus
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from an accredited program
  • Minimum 4 years of related experience
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) preferred with experience working for consulting firms and/or construction contractors
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to lead, guide, and instruct less experienced staff members
  • Strong leadership and project management skills
