Certified Nursing Assistant - Ambulatory Care

Job Summary:

Under the clinical direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), Advanced Practice Provider (APP), or Physician, and the operational direction of practice leadership, provides safe and age-appropriate patient care while supporting the clinical operations of the ambulatory care setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assists with rooming patients by performing height, weight, and vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation as directed.
  • Performs EKGs, Blood glucose, and other diagnostic tests as needed.
  • Provides basic nursing care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
  • Assists with patient transfers and mobility as needed.
  • Maintains accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Communicates effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.

Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience as a Nursing Assistant.
  • Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
