Job Summary:
Under the clinical direction of a Registered Nurse (RN), Advanced Practice Provider (APP), or Physician, and the operational direction of practice leadership, provides safe and age-appropriate patient care while supporting the clinical operations of the ambulatory care setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists with rooming patients by performing height, weight, and vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation as directed.
- Performs EKGs, Blood glucose, and other diagnostic tests as needed.
- Provides basic nursing care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming patients.
- Assists with patient transfers and mobility.
- Maintains accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience as a Nursing Assistant.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
