About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Linen Coordinator to join our team at Hackensack Meridian Health. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient distribution of linen throughout the Medical Center.

Responsibilities

  • Fold and stock linen in exchange and PAR linen carts to meet established standards.
  • Inspect linen for quality, including stains and tears, to maintain high standards.
  • Verify that linen trucks and carts meet established standards.
  • Answer phone calls and provide assistance to callers.
  • Prepare linen as requested via phone orders and dispatch a laundry worker for delivery.
  • Assist in cleaning work areas, sweeping, and dusting.
  • Adhere to the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a production environment.
  • Prior experience with high-volume automated machinery.
  • Experience in a laundry service.
