Position Overview:

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled DevOps Support Engineer to enhance our operational capabilities. This position is vital for the effective management and oversight of our OnPrem .NET Core APIs running on Windows servers, alongside our AWS infrastructure, which encompasses API Gateway, Lambda, Queues, SNS, and EventBridge. The successful candidate will possess experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Dynatrace, LogicMonitor, and SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer (DPA), contributing significantly to the upkeep and performance of our Production and QA environments.

Core Responsibilities:

Monitoring & Maintenance:

  • Regularly oversee OnPrem .NET Core APIs hosted on Windows servers utilizing LogicMonitor, Dynatrace, and SolarWinds DPA.
  • Administer and supervise the AWS environment, which includes API Gateway, Lambda, Queues, SNS, and EventBridge.
  • Guarantee the stability, performance, and security of both on-premises and cloud infrastructures.

DevOps & Build Management:

  • Oversee and assist with the QA and Production build processes.
  • Collaborate closely with the operations team to deploy and sustain applications across various environments.
  • Automate build, deployment, and monitoring processes wherever feasible to enhance operational efficiency.

Support & Troubleshooting:

  • Serve as the initial point of contact for identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving environmental issues.
  • Participate in troubleshooting discussions, coordinating with other support teams to promptly address incidents.
  • Document and communicate issue resolution progress to management and other support teams.
  • Escalate complex issues to the relevant teams while ensuring timely follow-up and resolution.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work collaboratively with various support teams to ensure smooth operations and quick resolution of any challenges.
  • Provide clear and concise updates to management, including status reports and incident summaries.
  • Engage in on-call rotations and offer after-hours support as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a DevOps or Support role, particularly with .NET Core APIs and Windows server environments.
  • Hands-on expertise with AWS services, including CloudWatch, API Gateway, Lambda, Queues, SNS, and EventBridge.
  • Proficient in monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and SolarWinds DPA.
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities with a knack for quickly diagnosing and resolving technical challenges.
  • Experience with build and deployment processes, including automation tools and scripts.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with cross-functional teams and management.
  • Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
