Job Summary

Clover Park Technical College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Central Service/Sterile Processing Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering high-quality instruction to students in our Central Service/Sterile Processing program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement curriculum that meets the needs of our students and the healthcare industry
  • Provide instruction and guidance to students in a variety of teaching settings, including classroom and clinical environments
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students and colleagues
  • Stay current with industry developments and best practices in Central Service/Sterile Processing
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program improvements
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • Current certification as a Central Service Technician or Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician through IAHCSMM or CBSPD
  • Minimum of three years of experience in Central Service/Sterile Processing
  • Current First Aid/CPR training and Blood Borne Pathogens training
  • Experience teaching in an online environment and familiarity with Open Educational Resources (OERs)
