AS A FACILITY MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST, YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across the sales floor, including floors, walls, baseboards, ceiling tiles, air vents, fitting rooms, touchpoints, and restrooms.
  • Ensuring the exterior of the store is clean, including windows, doors, cart corrals, and the removal of debris.
  • Sanitizing and maintaining the checkout area, including the daily removal of hangers and ensuring touchpoints are clean.
  • Cleaning and maintaining break room appliances, light fixtures, water fountains, and store fixtures.
  • Restocking essential supplies in restrooms, such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
  • Keeping garbage containers clean and replacing bags as necessary.
  • Performing general maintenance tasks as needed, including replacing light bulbs, conducting minor repairs, and cleaning carpets and tiles.
  • Prioritizing safety for both guests and associates in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Monitoring the supply of cleaning and sanitizing products and communicating needs to management.
  • Carrying out additional duties as assigned.

WHAT WE SEEK IN A FACILITY MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST:

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to achieve goals and solve challenges.
  • A helpful demeanor towards guests and fellow team members.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow multi-step processes.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including days, mid shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must possess adequate vision, speech, hearing, and physical ability to perform essential job functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry at least 20 pounds.
  • Capability for full body rotation and mobility, including bending, stooping, twisting, and reaching.
  • Ability to climb a 12-foot ladder for maintenance tasks.
  • Proficiency in handling cleaning equipment such as vacuums, brooms, mops, and dusters.
  • Full hand usage is required to operate hand tools.
  • Reliable transportation is necessary.
