Position Overview

As a Full-Time Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in presenting Frito-Lay's extensive range of high-quality products within local retail environments. Your responsibilities will include utilizing your personal vehicle to travel to various store locations, retrieving Frito-Lay products from storage areas, and ensuring that our offerings are both appealing and fresh for consumers.

Key Responsibilities

The work schedule is determined by customer needs, which may involve weekends and holidays, and requires working in diverse weather conditions. Your daily tasks will encompass:

  • Driving to designated locations using your personal vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided while on duty)
  • Checking in and out with the store manager
  • Transporting merchandise from the back room to the sales floor, restocking display units or shelves with products such as Doritos, Classic Lays, Tostitos, Smartfood Popcorn, etc.
  • Rotating stock and removing any defective or expired items
  • Organizing shelves and displays, breaking down boxes, and disposing of waste
  • Assisting in the setup and takedown of promotional materials including signs, banners, and cardboard displays

This position is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift between 15 to 40 pounds, as well as climb, push, pull, bend, stand, stoop, and kneel for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • At least 16 years of age
  • A valid driver's license with proof of insurance
  • Capability to perform physical tasks as described
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation

Additionally, a review of your driving history will be conducted.
