Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Account Liaison to build and maintain strong relationships with our valued customers. As the primary point of contact, you will be responsible for organizing and preparing quotation proposals, reviewing customer orders for acceptance, and coordinating technical and commercial requirements.

You will support field sales and customers regarding product needs, ensure timely and successful delivery of our solutions, and resolve Accounts Receivable issues. Your exceptional communication skills will enable you to effectively manage customer expectations and provide outstanding service.

A Day In The Life

  • Manage a territory or set of accounts to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Review quotation requests promptly, secure competitive feedback as available, and submit quotation requests to Business Units with pertinent comments.
  • Organize and review all bids with special commercial bid requirements, recommend HPS modifications, and obtain approvals.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Marketing, Field Sales, and HPS customers regarding product requirements, application questions, and potential issues.
  • Issue finalized quotations to customers, including commercial and technical requirements.
  • Identify and grow opportunities within your account base, collaborate with sales teams to ensure growth attainment.
  • Review purchase orders to ensure requirements are adequately defined and documented, that differences are resolved prior to order entry, and that HPS has the capability to meet contractual requirements.
  • Discuss important transactions with Customer Service Manager, Territory Manager, and Regional VP of Sales.
  • Coordinate resolution of customer complaints, warranty replacements, returned goods, and discrepancies.
What You Will Need To Succeed

This role requires a BA/BS in Business- or Marketing-related fields and 2-4 years customer service experience. Additionally, you should have excellent communication skills, ability to work on a personal computer for extended periods, and travel for business-related trips.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
