  • Monitor and adjust oven temperatures to ensure optimal cooking results.
  • Handle and store food safely to prevent contamination and foodborne illness.
  • Measure and mix ingredients accurately to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Prepare meats and baked goods according to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Test and taste food to ensure it meets quality and presentation standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Work effectively during peak business periods, including operating steam kettles and the grill line.
Requirements
  • Basic skills in sanitation, safety, and customer service, taught through in-house training.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical stamina to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
Working Conditions

The Baker will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, exposed to heat, steam, smoke, cold, and odors. The position requires frequent reaching, bending, pushing, and pulling, as well as continual standing and walking.
