Early Childhood Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Early Childhood Development Specialist to join our team at Arkansas Children's Hospital. As a key member of our pediatric primary care team, you will play a vital role in providing interventions, referrals, and follow-up services to families with patients ages 0-3 for Social, Emotional, and Behavioral issues.
Key Responsibilities- Build strong relationships with families, providers, and other multidisciplinary team members to increase the efficiency of the medical system and support team-based comprehensive care.
- Coordinate medical, specialty, and community agency appointments as needed, providing referrals and tracking follow-up to help families make successful connections to key resources within the community.
- Facilitate the HealthySteps model of care delivery by collaborating with clinic staff and providers, engaging in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives, and maintaining open communication with the primary care team.
- Document all patient clinical activity and care coordination in the electronic medical record, tracking caseload to ensure capacity to deliver services within the risk-stratified service delivery model.
- Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university, or four years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Related field experience - 1 year of experience.
