Lead Clinician Psychiatry Specialist

InGenesis is seeking a highly skilled Lead Clinician – Psychiatry to join our team. This role is a critical part of our client's program, providing on-site services to support the unique needs of Unaccompanied Children (UC).
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate the delivery of evidence-based behavioral health services and case management to all UC in temporary HHS custody.
- Maintain clinician staffing levels as defined by the contract.
- Provide orientation and training to new clinicians on program policies and procedures, cultural competence, and child welfare best practices.
- Lead team building, coaching, staff appraisals, and performance measures.
- Ensure adherence to contractual timelines and requirements related to family reunification.
- Oversee clinicians to ensure quality control over work, including initial assessments, individual care plans, psychoeducation, and counseling sessions for UC.
- Review and monitor individual diagnostic assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
- Coordinate with outpatient and inpatient community providers for additional behavioral services.
- Ensure clinician staff have required background checks and maintain current licensure.
- Update and maintain UC records in accordance with contract and procedures.
- Adhere to program reporting guidelines.
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited medical school.
- 5+ years of experience practicing medicine as a Board Certified Psychiatrist.
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) required.
- Current unrestricted M.D. or D.O. license required.
- Board Certified in Psychiatry.
- CPR.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens throughout employment.
- Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
- Pass all pertinent required background checks and child abuse and neglect checks.
- Maintain computer literacy required to meet the responsibilities of the position.
