About the Role

We are looking for an individual who can provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with healthcare professionals, and maintain the highest standards of quality and safety.

This role requires a strong foundation in electrophysiology, with experience in performing procedures such as catheter ablations, pacemaker and defibrillator implants/removals/upgrades, and maintaining intra-arterial access and peripherally inserted central catheters.

A successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate a commitment to ongoing education and professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily procedures in the electrophysiology laboratory, ensuring correct order, patient identification, and preparation
  • Maintain and troubleshoot lab equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and evaluate images for proper positioning and technical quality
  • Educate and monitor students and other healthcare providers, promoting best practices and advancing knowledge in electrophysiology
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes, coordinating care and communicating effectively with colleagues and patients
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Cardiovascular Technology Program and exam eligibility required
  • International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) or RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist) status required within two years of hire
  • RCES/RCIS preferred; ARRT certification as a Radiology Tech is also beneficial
