Job Summary

Amentum is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Representative to join our team. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide technical insight, review, and support to mechanics, aircrew, and FST teams on VH-92A aircraft.

Key Responsibilities
  • Act as a liaison between HMX-1 maintainers and operators, and PMA-274 Maintenance Department Managers to ensure consistent communication flow.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce costs and minimize out-of-service time.
  • Maintain a focus on supporting line maintenance users, contract field teams, and FST with corrective maintenance requests and technical guidance.
  • Coordinate the sourcing of approved parts, design solutions, and readiness improvement initiatives.
  • Provide technical insight, support, direction, and authorization to mechanics and vendors completing assignments, overhauls, repairs, and planned maintenance of the VH-92A.
  • Ensure all work is assigned and in accordance with established procedures and maintenance programs.
  • Support mechanics and CFT in identification of repair procedures and troubleshooting.
  • Provide technical input in the development of specific PM checks for all maintenance actions.
  • Participate in the identification, monitoring, and performance against established maintenance practices and instructions.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years' recent experience in relevant S-92A or VH-92A aircraft/systems.
  • Valid/Current Airframes and Power Plant (A&P) License.
  • Rotary Wing Aircraft experience within the last (5) five years is required.
  • Experience supporting IPTs and ITTs.
  • Personnel released from Military Service require an Honorable Discharge.
Preferred Qualifications
  • FAA Certification preferred.
  • Experience with military rotary aviation preferred.
  • S-92, VH-92A, VH-3D, and VH-60N experience preferred.
