ProHealth Care is a premier provider of behavioral health services in Waukesha County, Wisconsin. We are currently in search of a full-time, board-certified psychiatrist with a focus on ECT/TMS therapy to enhance our dedicated team.
Work Schedule:- Flexible first shift hours from Monday to Friday
- Participation in on-call, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed
The selected candidate will be tasked with administering ECT/TMS therapy, conducting thorough psychiatric assessments, managing patient medications, and developing effective treatment strategies under the supervision of the clinical program director. As part of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, advanced practice providers, nurses, psychotherapists, and social workers, you will contribute significantly to the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Core Competencies:- Administers ECT/TMS therapy
- Conducts psychiatric evaluations for new patients
- Prescribes and oversees patient medication
- Keeps precise patient records
- Assists therapists in patient care
- Collaborates with advanced practice nurses
- Engages in professional development through educational programs
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) with completed psychiatry residency
- Graduation from an accredited psychiatric residency program
- Must possess Wisconsin State licensure
- Board eligibility in the relevant specialty (board certification preferred)
- Membership with ProHealth Waukesha and/or Oconomowoc Memorial Hospitals
The Psychiatrist will evaluate and treat a diverse patient population, ensuring thorough care, accurate diagnosis, effective treatment, and support for recovery. This role also encompasses patient education and healthcare guidance. The ideal candidate will hold a medical degree, relevant state licensure, and have substantial experience in the field.
Requirements:- Doctoral Degree (MD)
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in behavioral health
