Position Summary:

Schneider is in search of a Senior Accountant located in the Green Bay region to engage in closing activities, which include the preparation of internal reports and conducting comprehensive variance analyses. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for compiling period-end journal entries, executing analytical review processes during monthly closures, and preparing reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee various accounting domains, including goodwill, equity, share-based compensation, intercompany transactions and balances, as well as foreign currency matters.
  • Review and record journal entries during the period-end closing activities.
  • Prepare reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
  • Evaluate the efficiency of control measures.
  • Generate external financial reports.
  • Adopt new accounting standards.
  • Formulate, document, and execute procedures that ensure timely and precise financial reporting.
  • Document all processes and procedures thoroughly.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • 3-6 years of experience in accounting or auditing.
  • CPA and experience in public accounting are highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Oracle.
