Job Title: Salesforce Administrator

As a Salesforce Administrator at General Dynamics, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effective and efficient use of Salesforce tools and capabilities across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Configure and optimize Salesforce systems to meet business requirements
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in Salesforce
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and implement process improvements
  • Develop and maintain automation using Salesforce Flow
  • Design and implement data management and security best practices
  • Participate in the design, documentation, and implementation of Salesforce schema updates and changes
  • Research and recommend add-on application packages to support business needs
  • Support integration with 3rd party applications
  • Manage Salesforce roles, profiles, sharing rules, and groups
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of experience in Salesforce administration
  • Salesforce architecture experience
  • Salesforce admin certification preferred or equivalent experience
  • Experience working in an Agile environment using SCRUM methodology
  • Experience working on Lightning page layouts
  • Experience with Salesforce field types, permissions, and licensing structure
  • Highly developed listening skills, excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with Apex and Visualforce development a plus
Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant curriculum required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

6 years of experience as an IT professional with broad experience across multiple IT disciplines or 4 years of specific system configuration, development, and deployment experience.
