Job Title: Healthcare Support Specialist

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm

Compensation: $21 - $25/hour

Department: Thoracic Surgery

Contract Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent

Role Overview:
The Healthcare Support Specialist will play a vital role in delivering clinical assistance to patients under the guidance of a licensed medical professional. Additionally, this position will encompass various administrative responsibilities.

Primary Duties:
- Prepare examination rooms and necessary instruments
- Assist patients in preparation for medical evaluations
- Document patient vital signs
- Conduct various medical tests as required
- Maintain patient records and file necessary reports
- Support billing processes when needed
- Utilize software applications for office tasks
- Uphold confidentiality standards
- Recognize patient population needs and provide suitable care
