About the Role:

The Logistics Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless service operations for our residential, commercial, and roll-off services. They communicate effectively with drivers to resolve issues while on route, coordinate driver utilization, trucks, and containers to maximize productivity and provide prompt, courteous service to all customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinates the dispatch of drivers to calls based on customer needs, driver locations, loads, and daily factors to balance cost and satisfaction.
  • Ensures maximum productivity by achieving or exceeding Company-established goals through successful vehicle routing.
  • Assigns routes and services to appropriate drivers throughout the day and for the next day, managing and determining route actions to ensure completion.
  • Handles incoming calls and emails from customer service and sales departments, managing requests for container movement within the area.
  • Initiates communication with customers while drivers are on-site, resolves pick-up and other issues delaying service, and updates Customer Care of any delays.
  • Prepares, updates, and dispenses daily route schedules, gathering and maintaining route sheet documentation for pick-ups, route completions, and driver locations.

Requirements:

A high school diploma or GED, eligibility to work in the US, and experience working as part of a team in a collaborative environment are required. Previous dispatch experience is preferred. Key attributes include attention to detail, excellent multi-tasking skills, excellent listening, communication, and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks.

Estimated Salary Range: $43,000 - $49,500 per year
