Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at JLL. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for the daily operation of mechanical systems, with a focus on plumbing, water/steam processes, and HVAC systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and repair plumbing/piping, HVAC, utilities, and fire/life safety systems
  • Perform preventative maintenance and corrective maintenance on multiple systems and equipment
  • Repair, maintain, restore, or replace various components of the buildings' physical structure
  • Work on-call, including evenings, nights, and weekends, and assist with general maintenance and support duties as needed
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and work as a multi-craft mechanic
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience with exposure to piping/plumbing systems, mechanical systems, and boiler controls/operation
  • Able to work in a customer service environment interacting with clients
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with computer-based systems and programs, including Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Conflict resolution skills and ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports
Physical Job Requirements

Must be able to adequately perform required job functions, including lifting, bending, and moving in a safe and approved manner. Must be able to lift 50lbs and work in close places such as closets, crawl spaces, attics, vaults, etc.

Work Schedule

The work schedule for this position is as follows: Sunday to Tuesday and every other Wednesday encompassing four 10-hour shifts.
