Seeking a Dedicated Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Professional

The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is committed to providing exceptional healthcare services to the Alaska Native and American Indian communities. We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Intensive Care Unit professional to join our team at the Alaska Native Medical Center in Anchorage, Alaska.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work in a Level II Pediatric Trauma Center, serving as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people across the state. Our team provides comprehensive 24/7 inpatient coverage in our state-of-the-art, 4-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) expandable to 8 beds.

Responsibilities
  1. Admit and manage patients in a supportive environment with a focus on delivering quality care and interacting with patients and families.
  2. Provide inpatient consults and procedures, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications

We are seeking a candidate with a Master's Degree in Nursing and Certification as a Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner by an approved national certifying body. A minimum of 2 years of PICU experience as an NP is required, with consideration given to CICU time and advanced training such as Acute Care APP Fellowship.
