**Job Overview**

Northwestern Memorial Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team of dedicated professionals. This full-time position will provide exceptional care to patients undergoing breast surgery and oncology treatment.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.

**Job Responsibilities**
  • Provide Expert Care:
    • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to OSHA regulations and reporting any deficiencies to supervisors immediately.
    • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' chief complaints and needs using the nursing process.
    • Develop and implement effective nursing interventions to address patient concerns.
  • Collaborate with Team Members:
    • Work collaboratively with physicians, clinical staff, and administrative units to ensure seamless patient care.
    • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to promote optimal outcomes.
  • Stay Up-to-Date:
    • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advances in oncology and breast surgery nursing.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of new policies and procedures to improve patient care.
**Requirements**
  • Education: Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Licensure: Registered Professional Nurse licensure in the State of Illinois.
  • Certifications: Certification in Basic CPR.
  • Experience: At least two years of relevant clinical experience in an acute or ambulatory care environment.
