Job Overview

Residential One LLC is seeking a highly skilled Real Estate Portfolio Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for analyzing and interpreting complex financial data, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvement.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, operations coordination, or a similar role, preferably within real estate or property management. They should be proficient in financial modeling, budgeting, and KPI tracking, with advanced Microsoft Excel skills and familiarity with financial and property management software.

The estimated salary for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience. The successful candidate will work closely with property managers and leadership to ensure that financial analyses lead to meaningful actions and continuous improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and interpret complex financial data to identify trends and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic decision-making.
  • Track and evaluate KPIs, including occupancy rates, turnover, rent collection, and expense control, to provide insights into property and portfolio performance.
  • Collaborate with property managers and leadership to implement financial analyses and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular financial reports and presentations to senior management, summarizing analysis findings and recommendations for further improvement.
  • Develop and maintain tools, templates, and processes to streamline the tracking of actionable items and reporting progress.
  • Support forecasting and financial modeling efforts to guide strategic decision-making and improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, operations management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, operations coordination, or a similar role, preferably within real estate or property management.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and KPI tracking.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; familiarity with financial and property management software is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build collaborative relationships across departments.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying and solving problems.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and tracking.
