We are seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Special Procedures Tech to join our team at Portneuf Medical Center. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services.
Responsibilities- Perform routine diagnostic and therapeutic radiographic special procedures under the supervision of the Radiologist and Director of Cath Lab.
- Produce high-quality images while ensuring radiation and physical safety measures.
- Collect and document patient data for procedures.
- Assist physicians with fluoroscopic procedures.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives.
- Certification and current registration as a Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry-eligibility with a commitment to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Obtain Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within six months of hire and maintain as current.
- Attend a 6-lead EKG course within six months of hire.
