Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at CHI Health Creighton University Medical Center - Bergan Mercy. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Properly assess patients and their abilities to participate in ordered procedures
  • Select and prepare the proper equipment, setting technical factors and protocols, and gather necessary supplies
  • Obtain clear and complete patient histories and record data for image interpretation and future encounters
  • Perform quality assessments of images obtained and evaluate equipment issues, reporting findings to supervisors or directors
  • Ensure all equipment is in working order at the beginning of the day and prior to procedures
  • Participate in and have a good understanding of department, campus, and system quality improvement projects, ACR accreditation, Radiation Safety, ALARA, MQSA, and State Regulations
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Radiologic Technology program
  • ARRT Board Certified in Radiology
  • Valid Medical Radiography or General Radiology Technologist Permit to Practice license in Nebraska or Iowa
  • ARRT Board Certified in CT within 2 years of hire
  • BLS from the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of venipuncture methods
  • Ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivation and ownership of projects/assignments
  • Excellent follow-up and customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills
