Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Think Whole Person Healthcare. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality CT procedures to ensure accurate and appropriate imaging information for use in diagnosis and treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare room, equipment, contrast media, and supplies necessary for each procedure.
  • Provide explanation of procedures and assume care of the physical and psychological needs of the patient while in radiology.
  • Obtain clinical information and indication for all diagnostic and CT scans. Document appropriate patient history/clinical data as indicated into the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
  • Start IVs and/or administering contrast agents as needed and perform quality CT exams to acquire appropriate images and accurate diagnostic information for interpretation by the supervising radiologist.
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Radiology or a related field required.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in Computed Tomography (CT) required.
  • Current certification in radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) and current certification in computed tomography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT, CT) required.
  • State of Nebraska Medical Radiographer License and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred.
Working Conditions and Physical Effort

This role operates in a healthcare setting. The employee must be able to stand 55% or longer of an 8-hour workday, walk 35% of an 8-hour workday, and sit 10% of an 8-hour workday. The employee must also be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive use of hands for simple grasping, fine manipulation, and computer use.
