Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct psychopharmacological services to clients
  • Perform psychiatric evaluations and complete written documentation within 2 business days
  • Assume responsibility for evaluating and following up on clients' psychopharmacological status
  • Participate in activities designed to maintain and enhance the quality of the Behavioral Health department's programs and services
  • Remain knowledgeable regarding issues of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning

Requirements:

  • Graduate degree from a certified Psychiatric NP program
  • Current Massachusetts licensure
  • 2 years of outpatient experience, post-training, as a certified NP
  • Ability to complete documentation accurately and on time
  • Proficiency in psychiatric assessment/evaluation

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Lived and/or professional experience with BIPOC individuals, LGBTQIA+ issues, HIV, and trauma
  • Bilingual Spanish/English

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to meet the following physical requirements with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Sit at a computer station for extended periods of time
  • Ability to keyboard for extended periods of time
