Medical Assistant

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our Home Hospital care team. As an integral part of the healthcare delivery model, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to patients in their homes.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Medical Assistant with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with patients, nurses, paramedics, physicians, physician assistants, and nurse practitioners.
Responsibilities- Active participation in patient care including anticipatory preparation, obtaining vital signs, doing phlebotomy, doing EKGs, and performing other procedures as determined relevant to the individual patient.
- Assist patients with visit needs, expediting care during visits, and completing tasks such as remote patient monitor setup and review, checklist completion, specimen transport, and equipment retrieval.
- Maintain supplies and equipment, ensuring the quality, safety, and laboratory check systems in the clinical environment.
- Assume responsibility for monitoring and arranging for restocking of supplies for the clinical need.
- Current Basic CPR certification required
- Minimum of high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Graduate of an MGH-approved Medical Assistant program required
- 6-12 months Medical Assistant experience preferred
$45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
