- Provide oral hygiene instruction and education to patients, motivating them to achieve and maintain optimum oral health.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to environmental health and safety standards.
- Support other office functions during downtime, promoting a positive work environment.
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program with a minimum of an associate's degree in applied science.
- Dental Hygienist License (in the state where care is provided).
- Basic Life Support certification.
- National Provider Identifier.
- Basic knowledge of sterilization and infection control equipment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Nitrous oxide permit.
- Restorative function endorsement (Oregon Dental Hygiene license only).
