Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient oral hygiene care, including comprehensive prevention, maintenance, and therapeutic dental treatment services.
  • Collect and document patient data related to oral health, ensuring compliance with policy and procedure.
  • Provide oral hygiene instruction and education to patients, motivating them to achieve and maintain optimum oral health.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to environmental health and safety standards.
  • Support other office functions during downtime, promoting a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program with a minimum of an associate's degree in applied science.
  • Dental Hygienist License (in the state where care is provided).
  • Basic Life Support certification.
  • National Provider Identifier.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Basic knowledge of sterilization and infection control equipment.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Nitrous oxide permit.
  • Restorative function endorsement (Oregon Dental Hygiene license only).
