Overview of the Role

We are seeking an experienced Risk Assessment and Compliance Professional to join our dynamic team in the Legal Department's Privacy Office. This role will report to the Privacy Manager on the Privacy and Legal Information Security team and support Comcast Cable's global privacy and AI programs by providing expert analysis, support for the Privacy Office, and process improvement recommendations. The ideal candidate will have strong familiarity with project management, risk assessment, and compliance processes, as well as experience working with cross-functional business teams and legal teams. In this role, you will complete assessments of existing and new business processes involving personal information and Artificial Intelligence (AI) that span multiple areas of the organization. You will interact closely with cross-functional business teams and across the legal team to ensure accurate and risk-based assessment of Privacy and AI Initiatives within the Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) and AI assessment processes. Additionally, you will assist in improving the company's AI and PIA assessment processes by identifying issues and developing gap analyses and solution recommendations. You will also provide hands-on support of the AI and PIA assessment processes and questionnaires in One Trust, including AI Intake triage and first-level review of PIAs. Furthermore, you will help define success metrics for the AI and PIA assessment processes and support the Privacy and Legal Information Security team with some administrative duties such as coordination of agendas, projects, and hands-on support in relevant technology; and manage the AI mailbox including providing coordinated responses to businesses' questions consistent with Comcast's AI governance program.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess awareness of legal, regulatory, and technical issues related to Privacy and AI. You should have experience with risk assessment or compliance processes and a strong understanding of technology, its applications, and cybersecurity. Additionally, you will need to be able to work effectively with colleagues across varying business lines, management, and operations personnel, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines with consistently high-quality results. Self-motivation, independence, sound judgment, strong work ethic, excellent problem-solving, and organization skills are essential. Experience coordinating work for a team, providing support for projects, and with technology such as SharePoint are also preferred. A Bachelor's Degree is required, and IAPP certification is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
