Job Summary:

UW Health is seeking a highly skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our team in the Digestive Health Procedure Center. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our gastroenterology specialists.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with patient preparation and procedures in the Digestive Health Procedure Center
  • Provide administrative support to the healthcare team, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements:

  • Completion of an accredited medical assistant program or equivalent experience
  • Current certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA)
  • One year of recent medical assistant experience, preferably in gastroenterology
