Raritan Valley Country Club in Bridgewater, NJ is seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable experience. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Stock and maintain inventory of beverages and supplies.
  2. Mix and serve cocktails, beers, and wines to guests.
  3. Assist in cost control and inventory management.
  4. Communicate with management to ensure timely restocking and supply needs.
  5. Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and standard operating procedures.
  6. Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
  7. Perform opening and closing duties, including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
  8. Accountable for checks and cash transactions, utilizing the Point of Sales System.
  9. Review banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special events.
  10. Serve catered parties from service or portable bars.
  11. Occasionally serve meals to guests.
  12. Incorporate safe work practices in job performance.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  2. One year of bartending experience and/or training.
  3. Must be at least 21 years of age or older to meet state age requirements to serve alcohol.

Other Qualifications

  1. Possesses knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
  2. Alcohol Awareness Training.
