Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team in Dover, New Hampshire.
Job Description & Requirements- Specialty: Orthopedic Therapy
- Discipline: Physical Therapy
- Duration: Ongoing
- 40 hours per week
- Shift: 8 hours, days
- Employment Type: Staff
As a Clinical Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting the Rehab Team Leader with specialty program development and external marketing. You will participate in multidisciplinary rounds, provide formal and informal in-services/educational offerings for staff and the community, assess and track outcomes, and develop plans based on clinical outcomes and metrics. You will also mentor peers and demonstrate competency in patient evaluation, development of care plans, administration of therapeutic interventions, and documentation of clinical care.
Responsibilities:
- Partnership and collaboration within specialty program
- Competency in patient evaluation and development of care plans
- Competency in administration of therapeutic interventions
- Competency in documentation of clinical care
- Maintenance of medical records
- Communication of clinical and operational information
- Participation in daily inpatient discharge planning rounds
- Receiving and providing education
- Supervision of support staff
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2000 hours of clinical practice in the specialty area, with 25% occurring in the last 3 years
- BA or BS in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy
- Post-professional certification/specialization in area of specialty supported by National Board Exam or successful completion of Fellowship/Residency in area of specialization
- Advanced clinical reasoning and mentorship experience
- NH License Physical Therapist
- AHA or ARC BLS within 2 weeks of hire
