Job Summary

This position performs a variety of different CT and MRI imaging procedures in a safe and efficient manner. The ideal candidate will follow established protocols, make adjustments to set parameters on the operating console to compensate for different patient conditions, and maintain a safe and efficient imaging environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT and MRI imaging procedures in a safe and efficient manner
  • Follow established protocols and make adjustments to set parameters as needed
  • Document important patient history and prepare exam rooms
  • Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians
  • Participate in accreditation and quality initiatives
  • Maintain a safe and efficient imaging environment
Requirements
  • Satisfactory completion of a formal Radiologic Technology Program in a JCERT-approved school
  • MRI and CT Registered or Registry eligible
  • CPR certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Developed computer skills and ability to learn new applications
  • Ability to work well under stress and maintain a professional image
Working Conditions

This position is typically performed in a hospital clinical environment with frequent standing and walking. Work may be subject to interruptions, and there is a risk of occupational exposure to blood and other potentially infectious hazards. The successful candidate will also work with protected health information and be able to work any shift, occasional extended hours, holidays, and/or weekends based on department needs.
