Nurse Supervisor RN Position

Generations at Oakton Pavillion LLC is seeking an experienced Part Time Nurse Supervisor RN to join our team. As a Nurse Supervisor RN, you will be responsible for leading our clinical team during shifts, providing guidance and instruction as needed. You will also assist with scheduling LPNs and RNs, interface with staff and other team members, and ensure compliance with nursing and government policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead clinical team during shift, providing guidance and instruction as needed
  • Assist with scheduling LPNs and RNs
  • Interface with staff and other team members
  • Assist with admissions
  • Ensure that necessary updates, reports and audits are completed in a timely and accurate manner
  • Ensure compliance with nursing and government policies and procedures
  • Inform patients' family members about medical procedures and doctors' instructions
  • Provide psychological and emotional support to patients and their family and friends
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse (LPN), licensed in the State of Illinois
  • Three years' nursing experience
  • Supervisory or charge experience, preferably in a SNF
  • Nursing experience in a long term care skilled facility
  • Strong documentation and auditing capabilities
  • Leadership and relationship building skills
  • Compassion, tolerance and understanding of older adults
