Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a qualified individual to join our team as a Lead Cloud Security Analyst. This role involves a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing our information assurance capabilities.

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) artifacts, policies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Engage in technical discussions and cybersecurity meetings with team members to ensure alignment and effective communication.
  • Apply knowledge of information assurance to tactical networks and systems, emphasizing security practices and the integration of IA concepts into rapid hardware/software development.
  • Contribute to the assessment of system confidentiality, integrity, and availability through the planning, analysis, and enhancement of information assurance programs and policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of briefing materials and support engineering meetings, including the coordination of security testing events and administrative tasks as required.
  • Utilize security tools such as HBSS, ACAS, and SIEMs (e.g., Splunk) to monitor compliance and patch management.
  • Validate the security posture of systems, ensuring the integrity and security of servers, computers, and network devices.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of cybersecurity practices, including DISA STIG implementation and system hardening methodologies.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in Information System Security Officer (ISSO) roles and familiarity with all phases of the RMF process.
  • In-depth knowledge of both on-premise and cloud security environments.
  • Demonstrated success in securing Authority to Operate (ATO) approvals.
  • A bachelor's degree combined with over 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as HBSS, ACAS, and SIEMs.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity protocols and procedures (e.g., DISA STIGs, RMF, eMASS).
  • Familiarity with industry standards for information assurance (e.g., NIST SP 800-37).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet urgent, high-priority tasks as directed by senior management.
Security Clearance:
Candidates must possess an active Secret Clearance or higher at the time of hire to be considered for this position.
