The Field Service Technician is responsible for executing routine maintenance and repair tasks on various material handling machinery and systems, such as forklifts and heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Travel to client locations to conduct scheduled maintenance on forklifts and other designated machinery, adhering to established protocols while fostering positive customer interactions.
- Perform regular and specialized inspections as necessary.
- Keep detailed service records, documenting all preventive and corrective actions taken.
- Recognize and report any additional repairs or services needed for the equipment.
- Manage inventory of parts, materials, tools, and consumables utilized during service.
- Operate vehicles and equipment safely, in compliance with company and customer safety regulations, ensuring a clean and organized work environment.
- Build and maintain strong, effective working relationships with clients and colleagues.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in fields such as material handling, automotive, aviation, military, or completion of a trade school program with applicable skills.
- Basic understanding of hydraulic systems is preferred.
- Possession of a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Successful completion of background and drug screenings is required.
