Position Overview: This is a full-time role, primarily Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend assignments as needed. The majority of the work will be conducted in the office, with limited in-field recruitment activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and recruit Home Health Aides (HHA) and Personal Care Aides (PCA) across the tri-state area, including Nassau County and Suffolk.
- Create engaging advertisements and job postings to attract potential candidates.
- Participate in job fairs to promote employment opportunities to the community.
- Ensure personnel files are maintained in accordance with New York State Department of Health regulations.
- Manage the entire hiring process, from conducting interviews to facilitating orientation.
- Establish and nurture relationships within the community to enhance referral sources.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual proficiency in English/Spanish or Creole is required.
- Reliable transportation is essential for field appointments and visits.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong customer service abilities.
- Ability to work independently, with a keen attention to detail and effective prioritization skills.
- Willingness to assist at other office locations as necessary.
- Prior experience in healthcare, particularly in HR, compliance, or recruitment, is preferred.
- Familiarity with New York State Department of Health hiring requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- A high school diploma is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with HHA exchange software systems.
- Background in home care recruitment or marketing.
- Established relationships with referral sources, such as training institutions.
