About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a reputable and long-standing Restoration Construction Company as a top-quality Estimator. With a great reputation and a continuous flow of repeat and new clients, the company is seeking skilled, experienced, and talented individuals to join their team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Development: Establish and maintain local area clientele, primarily insurance adjusters, community business owners, schools, and municipalities.
  • Xactimate Proficiency: Create accurate floor plans in Xactimate Sketch and demonstrate a working knowledge of applicable building codes.
  • Budgeting and Scheduling: Create and adhere to acceptable budgets, address overages, and maintain a construction schedule.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in source removal, decontamination, mitigation, containment, ventilation, contents, and deodorization techniques.
  • Investigative and Demolition Services: Participate in investigative demolition, controlled demolition, decontamination, structure cleaning, and deodorization services.
  • Training and Development: Participate in continued training with the company, including Basic Xactimate training and preparation for Estimator Level 2 or 3 User Certification.
  • Independence and Safety: Independently manage own work, maintain vehicle safety and maintenance inspections, and ensure vehicles are in a clean and serviceable condition.
  • Reporting and Communication: Complete all accident, injury, and incident reporting forms in a timely manner and demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Restoration Construction experience required.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED/Associates/Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Computer Literacy: Required.
  • Xactimate Proficiency: Required.
  • IICRC Certifications: Highly preferred.
  • Preferred Programs: Autocad, Bluebeam, Procore, Excel, Take-off estimating, and Blueprint reading.
