Job Summary

As a key member of the Fairmount Behavioral Health System team, the Plant Operations Director plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. This position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our buildings, equipment, and grounds, as well as coordinating with other departments to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and direct programs to maintain buildings, equipment, and grounds.
  • Ensure the efficient procurement and generation of utilities and their distribution systems.
  • Coordinate with other departments and department heads to ensure safe and efficient operations.
  • Oversee the housekeeping department and ensure hospital cleanliness standards are met consistently.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Five to Ten years of progressive experience in supervision and maintenance.
  • Specific experience in maintenance installation, construction, and maintenance of grounds, utilities, and buildings.
