Job Summary:

Niagara Bottling is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Plant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of a manufacturing plant, including safety, quality, production, and cost management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a safe plant culture and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve product quality and reduce costs
  • Manage plant production goals and coordinate with department managers to ensure efficient operations
  • Select and train plant supervisory and administrative staff
  • Foster a well-trained and motivated staff through excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Conduct employee performance reviews and schedule plant meetings
  • Ensure maintenance of a clean and safe plant environment
  • Communicate daily operations to the plant director and attend corporate trainings and meetings

Requirements:

  • 6 years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment
  • 6 years of experience in a position of leadership or management
  • 4 years of experience managing people or projects
  • Strong planning and organization skills, ability to multitask, and effective communication skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Outlook skills
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience in a field or similar manufacturing environment
  • 10+ years of experience working in a position of leadership or management
  • 6 years of experience managing people or projects

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field
  • Master's Degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or other related field (preferred)
