Seakeeper Inc is looking for a seasoned Marine Stabilization Technology Lead to join our team in Leesport, PA.

About the Role:

This position requires a highly experienced professional with a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering and 7+ years of experience in product development or R&D.

The successful candidate will oversee the development and improvement of our advanced gyro stabilization technology and take over the responsibilities of our current team members.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around $120,000-$180,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

About the Job:

As our Marine Stabilization Technology Lead, you will identify technology development pathways and the opportunities they could yield both in success and failure.

You will also participate in technical discussions and documentation reviews, promoting a data-driven and growth-focused culture.

  • Becoming a Seakeeper technology expert across multiple engineering disciplines
  • Working with suppliers to understand current manufacturing limitations
  • Creating and communicating a coherent short-term and long-term strategy for expanding product capabilities
  • Constructing a team of top-notch engineering talent to effectively meet the demands of our long-term strategy
  • Facilitating and managing timelines and weekly goals for the project teams
  • Developing implementation packages providing proper background, engineering calculators, and design rules allowing the product development team to implement R&D findings into next-generation products
About You:

You must have a Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering and 7+ years of experience in product development or R&D.

The following qualifications are required:

  • Senior-level technical contributor with a demonstrated ability to contribute at the system level of product design
  • Demonstrated ability to facilitate discussions and reach compromises amongst other senior engineers
  • Ability to communicate timelines, goals, and budgets to project stakeholders
