We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at UNC Health. As a Radiologic Technologist, you will be responsible for providing diagnostic imaging services to patients, working closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnoses.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and answering questions
- Position patients correctly for imaging, using techniques to minimize discomfort and maximize image quality
- Collaborate with radiologists to ensure accurate diagnoses and provide high-quality images
- Maintain accurate records and reports, adhering to regulatory requirements
- Associate's degree or completion of an accredited Radiologic Sciences Program
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiological Sciences or registry eligible and become registered within one (1) year from date of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification
