Our operations follow a continuous crewing schedule, featuring alternating weeks of 3 and 4 days, with positions available on both night and day shifts.
The compensation for this role is competitive, with weekly pay and overtime available after your standard workweek.As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, your daily responsibilities will involve addressing production challenges through effective root cause analysis, utilizing schematics and technical drawings. Your analytical skills will be crucial in identifying solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
Equipment Maintenance and PLC Expertise:
You will be the primary resource for troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and immediate machine repairs. A solid understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) will be vital to your success.
Diagnosing Issues and Implementing Solutions:
Engage with production equipment malfunctions, performing thorough root cause analysis. Repair electrical and mechanical systems, including pneumatics, drives, hydraulics, and conveyor systems.
Fostering Innovation and Communication:
Continuously seek opportunities to improve plant efficiency and reduce costs. Maintain open communication with your supervisor and team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
Essential skills include basic computer proficiency, particularly with Microsoft Office.
Experience in troubleshooting PLC programs and hardware is required.
You must be able to read and interpret electrical and electronic/mechanical drawings, schematics, and related documentation.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and repair electronic and computerized equipment, including RS Logix (5, 500, and 5000), Allen Bradley PLCs, HMI programming, AC/DC drives, and motor control systems is necessary.
Adherence to all Safety and Food Safety guidelines is mandatory.
This position requires regular attendance and punctuality as per company policies. The ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and work overtime when needed is essential.
