Job Title: Transit Infrastructure Manager

At GRTC, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transit Infrastructure Manager to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to lead the development and implementation of bus stop improvements, ensuring the efficient and effective management of our transportation infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive bus stop improvement program, including the construction, enhancement, renewal, and replacement of bus stop shelters, benches, trash cans, and landing pads.
  • Manage the construction process, ensuring projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and in accordance with standards.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify priority locations for bus stop improvements and oversee the jurisdictional approval process.
  • Develop and maintain a database to track project progress and ensure timely completion.
  • Manage and coordinate with contractors, consultants, and staff to complete projects as needed.
  • Develop and implement project-specific QA programs and review and approve contractor invoicing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Strong project management experience, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
  • Valid driver's license or operator's permit issued from the jurisdiction of residence.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
  • National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) Certification.
  • Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Certification.
  • Experience working with City, County, State, or Federal Government agencies.
